Temporary Life Underwriting Processing Assistant

What You’ll Do: As a Temporary Life Underwriting Processing Assistant, you will assist with data entry in our life underwriting system. Primary responsibilities include data entry and document attachment in our system, as well as direct communications via e-mail with applicants. In this role it is important to be adaptable and flexible, as you may have other duties as assigned.
What It Takes to Join Our Team:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required. Life insurance experience is a plus.
- Must have high attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Computer skills are required to quickly learn our multiple systems (Excel and Word required).
- Strong self-motivation to organize and process work with limited supervision under tight deadlines is required.
- Customer service skills are required, including solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work 7:30am-4pm or 8am-4:30pm Monday through Friday (45-minute lunch) from our office in West Des Moines, IA.
