The EPPA Medical Scribe Program supports undergraduate students and recent graduates interested in exploring careers in medicine and gaining an advantage with their professional school application. Medical Scribes support providers in emergency departments and clinics across the Twin Cities and St. Cloud area. They act as administrative assistants to providers by handling all aspects of patient information in the electronic health record so that providers can focus on patient care. We are looking to hire an individual who is enthusiastic about campus recruitment, enjoys building relationships and advising prospective talent, and values collaborative teamwork.The objective of the Scribe Campus Recruiter is to implement and carry out staffing strategies to increase quality scribe program applicants, schedule and attend campus events, design and execute efficient marketing strategies, and support internal event execution. The position will be responsible for collaborating with scribe program leadership to develop and administer a talent management strategy that includes a hiring timeline, building and maintenance of relationships with potential applicants as well as key partners at colleges, universities and other relevant programs that will contribute to the long-range growth of the scribe program. This position requires travel to Minnesota colleges and universities located in the Twin Cities and regionally.Key Result Areas: The primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:Develop and conduct sourcing and recruitment strategies to meet current and projected workforce needs of medical scribes (entry level pre-health positions).Manage full lifecycle recruitment process for medical scribes including application creation, application review, candidate status and communications, candidate process to include scheduling, interview, feedback, offer letters, and exit survey.Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively to source candidates for cyclical high volume scribe seasonal turnover.Organize, initiate, and communicate initial onboarding processes to new hires. Conduct initial employee orientations.Create an exceptional candidate experience and acts as a brand ambassador on college/university campuses.Conducts appropriate research to assist in the selection and develop strong relationships with key school contacts including career services, advisors, faculty, student groups, and diversity associations to assist future and current recruiting activities.Leads and coordinates campus events and career fairs including that develop relationships and connections to quality talent.Decision making support in internal scribe leadership promotional positions.Support operations managers to determine staffing needs. Manage overall FTE pipeline and distribution.Maintain and develop an internal database: tracking candidate history, tagging candidates, building knowledge base of individuals, industries, and markets.Can successfully execute identifying strong, diverse talent through campus recruiting activities.Creates and manage unique employment branding strategies and marketing tools used to assist in the recruitment process which may include creation of marketing materials, updating web content, write blog articles, direct email campaigns, social media campaigns, advertising campaigns, job postings, and event collateral. Analyze application, hiring, and events data, assess ROI for future recruitment strategies.Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure compliant hiring practices and processes that support EPPA’s commitment to a diverse workforce.Manage internal event planning and execution including internal employee education, employee professional development workshops, mock-interviews and resume review, and employee appreciation parties.Other job-related projects as assigned.Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources, or related field preferred.1-3 years of full lifecycle recruitment or campus recruitment experience preferred. Other related experience or qualifications will be considered. Exceptional customer service skills, ability to communicate and interact professionally with others.Strong technical aptitude, direct experience and creativity using social media (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram) and college/university recruiting websites (e.g., Handshake, Symplicity).Knowledge of employment laws and the ability to apply federal, state, and local laws and internal policies, procedures, to HR-related situations. Adept in using HRIS and ATS systems.A basic to intermediate proficiency of office suite including Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point is required. Preferred skills:Proven full lifecycle campus recruiting experience or high-volume recruiting experience.Medical or science hiring industry experience.Business partnering skills.Awareness of industry and labor market trends.Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners.Ability to analyze and interpret basic data sets to tell a story and make recommendations.
