Role: Sales Operations

Location: Jacksonville, FL (Remote)

Job Summary:

This role drives the delivery of Professional Services offerings with internal clients by assisting with the development of SOWs, as well as quality assurance for any outgoing services opportunities. Position will support and enable the sales and delivery organization to drive front line sales teams to sell better, faster, and more efficiently. This role will drive the sales operations to bring a system to selling. This role is non client facing role.

This US based position will provide operational management and review across the quote to contract process for accuracy, adherence to policy, management of risk, confirmation of existing or design of new operational controls based on evolving business strategies.

Responsibilities:

Sales Operations

  • Responsible for tracking key deliverables, managing opportunities and operational sales support for Professional Services engagements to ensure timely delivery of proposals and SOW’s
  • Manage priorities and call facilitation for delivery and other sales team members
  • Assist in scheduling internal project kick-off calls
  • Assist contract administration with creating and updating contract documents, such as proposals, statements of work, contract amendment, etc.
  • Provide forecast of deal closures in sales operations pipeline
  • Maintains proficiency with the SOW development process

Contracts

  • Responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining update contract documents, such as proposals, statements of work, change orders, etc.
  • Applies technical communication and knowledge to ensure readability and usability of SOWS for delivery teams
  • Provide contracting guidance and enablement to field sales teams for unusual or complex deals
  • Follow up of detailed contract review, highlighting potential revenue recognition issues or challenging pricing, Ts & Cs, etc.
  • Non-standard contract evaluation for risk mitigation
  • Lead weekly opportunity update meetings and managing tracking updates
  • Assist in collecting and storing presales artifacts in a central location

Process/Technology

  • Identify process and technology improvements between teams to streamline overall sales and delivery process
  • Drive automation for routine, non-core tasks to drive overall efficiency
  • Analysis and identification of process control gaps and formulation of recommendations on controls to close those gaps based on changing business strategies

Requirements/Skills:

  • Demonstrated 4 or more years’ experience in IT professional services in sales operations
  • Demonstrated 5 or more years’ experience in Technical Project Management
  • 4-year business degree required
  • Demonstrated ability to work with ambiguity and able to focus and execute in a changing environment
  • Demonstrated experience being able to quickly grasp new technical concepts to drive project tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to independently determine multiple approaches to problem solving
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with executives, managers, and subject matter experts being able to provides a clear message and sets proper expectations
  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and screen capture software
  • Demonstrated experience being able to quickly grasp new technical concepts to drive project tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to independently determine multiple approaches to problem solving
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, quickly, multitask and thoroughly to prioritize and complete multiple projects with tight deadlines simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to be highly organized and efficient and ambiguous situations
  • Demonstrated experience with sales management and document management programs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior work experience with a consulting organization in a project delivery role
  • Previous working knowledge of Teams
