Diversant has an immediate need for a talented Sr. UX Designer that brings experience in the FinancialServices Industry. This is a 24 month contract opportunity and is located in San Francisco. The UX Design Team is responsible for defining and delivering the user experience and standards for primary customers. The Visual Design team seeks an experienced, self-motivated and enthusiastic Visual Designer to work on applications projects and teams. You must have at least 4 years of professional Visual Design and UX experience in an agency and corporate or enterprise environment. Also required is solid hands on visual design experience designing specifically for web based applications and expertise in mobile and native spaces. You’ll be experienced in working with established framework components and standards, managing deadlines and deliverables as well as being a strong Visual Design lead on projects. You’ll be applying our Visual Design standards to our next generation digital experiences and advocated to expand and extend our existing brand.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Create and produce excellent quality, on brand visual design that motivates and guides our customers through their application experience and workflow, within any of our applications
  • Ensure exceptional meticulous on time visual design deliverables such as comps, redlines and specs that adhere to brand, accessibility and UX standards
  • Present visual designs in meeting reviews and cross functional project sprints; demonstrate friendly, articulate communication of your work and design decisions; apply out of the box thinking that applies to real world scenarios, constraints and defined personas
  • Maintain integrity of visual design file setup and documentation specs and process tools
  • Meet and exceed best practices and standards, measurable impacts and design integrity in the final digital product

Requirements:

  • 4+ years visual design demonstrated experience designing for web based applications using an established framework design system
  • Proven experience designing for responsive sites, mobile and native screens
  • Experience using design prototype tools to prove concepts and test designs
  • Familiarity with micro interactions interface elements states transitions and animations and how to style and define them to enhance user experience
  • Experience working within establishing design principles and style guides
  • Strong portfolio of visual design work for the above. Design documentation samples are required (example: redlines, style guides, design iterations or versions)
  • Proven visual design skills in typography, color, layout and brand
  • Ability to thrive in collaborative team environments
  • Ability to multi task and work under pressure while retaining careful attention to detail
  • Expert skills in design and prototyping applications including Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision
  • Deep knowledge of CSS as it relates to visual design

Recommended:

  • BA/BS degree in design or related field
  • Experience with Confluence and JIRA or similar collaboration and task applications
  • Experience with or awareness of design for accessibility
  • Illustration skills for infographics and iconography
