Licensed Insurance Agent or Customer Service Representative

Job Description

We are seeking a Licensed Customer Service Rep to join our growing agency. You will be responsible for answering phone calls from existing clients and prospects, updating client database and helping customers by providing product and service information.

Must be familiar with quoting homeowners and auto insurance policies and be proficient with Acord forms.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints
  • Provide information about the products and services
  • Answer coverage questions
  • Document and update customer records based on interactions
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
  • Cross-sell other lines of coverage to existing clients
  • Provide quotes for incoming calls from prospects and follow up on leads

Qualifications:

  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual preferred (Spanish)
  • 440 Insurance License required
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as CSR or Producer at non-standard insurance agency
