Overview

The employees at our Commissary and Bakery are responsible for making much of the food in our restaurants. They do everything from chop fruit, to making our Ranch dressing, to baking our baguettes. The quality that goes into all of our food starts with their dedication, and it shows in every pizza, salad and sub we serve.

1) Operate processing equipment producing and packaging food items ensuring quality of product meeting daily production numbers.

2) Accurately measure/weigh ingredients producing quality bakery products in accordance with company recipes and standards meeting daily production numbers.

3) Label, date bakery production in accordance with processes and standards.

4) Monitor quality of production including the rotation of food products on a first in first out basis.

5) Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and documents such as recipes, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

6) Records time and temperature of items for conformance to company specifications and standards. Maintain all company, local, state, and national health standards at all times.

7) Performs daily cleaning duties including cleaning of equipment, mopping and sanitizing of Prep Room as well as other cleaning duties assigned by management.

8) Maintain clean, orderly and safe work environment and ensure proper safety procedures are used at all times.

9) Control loss prevention by following company policies and quality procedures and practicing honesty in the workplace at all times.

10) Uphold Leadership Cornerstones. Embody leadership behaviors that create success for yourself and Dion’s.

11) Make It Happen. Recognize and perform duties that need to be performed. Seek guidance and direction, as necessary, for performance of job duties.
