Business analyst / Project manager

Job Description:

Will be the main individual in Managing the project and getting the requirements from the client. Will serve in a dual role of Project Manager and a Business Analyst.

Role & Responsibilities

The primary purpose will be to

  • Assisting with the business case analysis
  • Eliciting requirements
  • Requirements analysis and organization
  • Translating and simplifying requirements
  • Creating requirement and design documents, workflow diagrams, mockups
  • Requirements management and communication
  • Work in an Agile methodology
  • Participate in Scrums with ability to be a Scrum Master and Sprint management
  • Interact with key stakeholders for communication related to requirements/user stories
  • Support the PMO in the management of the project as a Junior PM
  • Ensure that the project schedule is met per the client requirements
  • Prepare all Project documentation including PMP, Project plan, Weekly reports, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills
  • Experience managing client expectations
  • Experience monitoring schedule, project timeline, progress
  • Help project team with design and development tasks
  • Experience working with MS Office tools
  • Time management and analytical skills


· Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Business or related field preferred

· 8+ years of overall experience in Business Analysis

· 2+ years in Project management

· Experience in Health and Human Services domain

· Understanding of the workings of state and local governments
