The Mobility Client Sales Director is responsible for developing relationships with existing Cox Automotive clients as well as identifying and building relationships with new automotive/fleet clients to prospect and sell Mobility solutions, products and services. They have a depth of expertise of the products and services offered by Mobility brands and an understanding of how these solutions can work in tandem with other Cox Automotive solutions. The Mobility Client Sales Director is expected to have in-depth automotive knowledge and an understanding of the mobility space, including electric vehicles, the movement of people and packages as part of the evolution of the automotive industry.
Success is dependent upon the ability to build relationships with decision makers and work with internal partners to sell holistic solutions, including Mobility operations leaders and cross-business sales resources. The Mobility Client Sales Director must have a strong sales background with demonstrated experience in building a sales strategy and the resilience to continually engage with prospective clients to bring them to a close.
Identify and capture the largest opportunities in the targeted markets.
Align Cox Automotive mobility solutions and services with identified opportunities in a collaborative team environment.
Build relationships with decision makers and trusting relationships with decision makers and influencers.
Provide deep expertise for products within their area of responsibility (incl. business process best practices, industry trends and insights, competition, specific product knowledge, and financial acumen).
Develops and delivers insightful information and persuasive presentations/demos for dealer clients.
Achieve forecasts, budgets, and goals.
Secure client agreement and contracts required to achieve the assigned sales goal.
Develop and maintain relationships with key customer contacts; demonstrate a high level of attentiveness towards customers and create a culture which encourages client satisfaction.
Build and maintain a pipeline of active and passive candidates to minimize business disruption and secure continued growth.
Utilize Salesforce as the point of record for all customer relationship management information. Monitor revenue pipeline via opportunities detailed in Salesforce.com.

Qualifications: 10+ years of outside sales experience in a multi-platform product environment preferred.
5+ years of experience in sales selling products and services to medium, large and enterprise level accounts.
Experience meeting and exceeding sales objectives
Excellent time management, organization, and task prioritization skills.
Collaborative team-selling experience.
Ability to travel regularly (50-70% of the time for day and overnight trips) for client meetings.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Valid driver’s license
Highly proficient level of computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
BS/BA in related discipline (Master’s degree preferred in some area) OR an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
Demonstrated and complete understanding of Cox Automotive Mobility solutions; general understanding of all other Cox Automotive companies.
Previous experience using Salesforce.com or other Customer Relationship Management system
Knowledge of automotive dealership operations strongly preferred.
Previous experience in automotive, or mobility solutions (preferably fleet services, digital and/or subscription products).

Opportunity Management: Through excellent prospect management and understanding of prospect needs, identify up- and cross-selling opportunities to increase contract spend
Prospecting: Maintaining awareness of the prospective dealers in one’s assigned territory and qualifying potential opportunities for new business
Closing: Nurturing leads and prospects through the sales process and demonstrating strong capabilities of closing new business
Customer Communication: Has excellent written and verbal communication skills, responds to clients and colleagues in a timely manner, and delivers effective, persuasive presentations
Customer Knowledge: Proactively applying both product and market knowledge to the deep understanding of customer needs to make insightful, accurate inferences about customer’s business
Market Knowledge: Maintains high level of knowledge about marketplace and industry trends in order to integrate market knowledge into customer conversations
Customer Loyalty: Maintaining customer satisfaction through properly selling the value propositions of each Cox Mobility product and service while managing prospect expectations.
Teamwork: Maintain a consistent willingness to assist team members and proactively helps out colleagues whenever needed.
Product Knowledge: Consistently demonstrates product knowledge and continually seeks opportunities to learn more about Mobility Solutions to improve job performance and meet customer needs
Internal and Operational Resources: Effectively uses internal reports and sales operations resources to help assess market, account status, and sales opportunities
