PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITES
Greets and receives all clientele coming into the clinic.
Answers all incoming phone calls for the clinic, taking messages when appropriate.
Sets medical and clinical appointments for all clients.
Monitors clinic lobby and assist with smooth check in, dosing, clinical and medical appointments.
Responsible to receive all fees for service from the private paying clientele, including maintaining accurate and complete financial records within computer system.
Required to send all information requested to the business manager and to make adjustments when appropriate.
Completes required financial paperwork in a timely fashion.
Responsible for all incoming and outgoing mail and faxes
Attends required meetings: staff meetings, workshops, training, etc. as assigned by the clinic manager. QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Certification and Experience Requirements
High school diploma plus work experience required.
Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and receptionist duties.
Experience in medical facility is desirable, but not required.
Basic computer knowledge is necessary.
Required sensitivity to the needs of those who are chemically dependent.
Ability to participate as an effective team member.
Ability to communicate clearly.
Ability to interact with clients in a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner.
Tools and Equipment Requirements
The ability to use a phone, computer, printer, and copier is required.
Frequent use of Microsoft office products, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
The ability to use the internet and various web browser software is required. Physical Working Conditions and Office Setting Description
Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment.
Manual dexterity using a calculator and computer keyboard.
Requires prolonged sitting, standing, frequent bending, stooping, or stretching.
Some lifting may be required.
Frequent and prolonged typing and frequent and prolonged operation of computer, keyboard, and telephones required.
Requires occasional use of fax machines, telephones, copiers, and other office equipment.
Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds. Other Conditions
