We are looking for someone who is a go-getter, with a passion for organization and a willingness to learn. The right candidate will have solid administrative skills and a passion for helping their community. City First Enterprises currently works with a variety of community partners and government organizations on community development projects. In this roll you will have the ability to work with our outstanding team in small business lending, affordable housing, and community development. Potential tasks range from scheduling board meetings to supportive tasks related to our loan fund, to assisting with editing grant reports, etc. Each day will present a new opportunity to contribute in different ways.The ideal candidate will be someone ambitious, goal oriented and focused. We are an organization that works hard at what we do every day!Administrative Assistant Job Responsibilities:Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office.Communicates with Board of Directors, assists with managing the calendar and coordinating meeting arrangements, as well as keeping meeting minutes.Coordinates with the Operations Manager on daily tasks and assists with processing mail and documents.Supports the Loan Fund and City First Homes in communicating with clients and requesting documentation.Answers phone calls, schedules meetings and supports visitors.Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and written correspondence.Supports team by performing tasks related to the organization with strong communication skills.Provides information to external clients and partners by answering questions and requests.Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing task related results.Assists with billing and account maintenance.Monitors several email accounts and identifies and prioritizes items for triage or referral to the rest of the team.Strong Excel skills preferred.Administrative Assistant Skills and Qualifications:Reporting SkillsAdministrative Writing SkillsMicrosoft Office SkillsOrganizationAnalyzing InformationProfessionalismProblem SolvingVerbal CommunicationAbility to adapt and accept new tasks as assigned.Education and Experience Requirements:Minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent education required, some college or commensurate work experience preferred.3-5 years of administrative or executive assistant experience required.Knowledge of appropriate software including: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat Pro.Ability to pick up additional software and technology with ease.Experience working with a board of directors.Flexible and adapts to changing circumstances and challenges with ease.COMPENSATIONSalary will be based on experience, plus a generous benefits package that includes employee-sponsored health and dental, life insurance, health savings account with annual employer contributions, retirement plan with employer matching, paid parental leave and a generous paid time off program.Our office is a unique work environment that is open, innovative and collaborative.We are currently located at 1 Thomas Circle and CFE provides transportation benefits up to the IRS maximum for qualified work travel.Due to the national health emergency the CFE team is currently working remotely.
