Job location: 3003 North 3rd Street, Phoenix, Arizona Summary The Administrative Assistant is an integral member of the Population Health Management (PHM) team, functioning under the direction and supervision of the PHM Supervisor or Manager. This position performs a variety of support functions and duties for multiple PHM staff members. This position contributes to the organization’s drive to achieve “Triple Aim”: improved individual customer experience, improved health and quality of care and reduced cost of care. Responsibilities and Essential Functions Compiles and distributes PHM reports which include: the daily census, readmissions, hospital utilization reports, palliative, case management, and tracking metric reports Schedules meetings for providers and multidisciplinary teams interacting with internal and external customers Schedules appointments for educational programs, preventative screenings, and clinic examinations as necessary Providing project support for PHM department, including tracking and documenting project deliverables, scanning and uploading data within an electronic health record Manages staff access management system requests and other administrative support needs such as hardware/software/wireless requests Ordering and maintaining department forms, medical and office supplies for staff at multiple locations Demonstrates a positive customer service approach in all internal and external customer experiences Improves the customer and external vendor experience through inquiry calls received Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or experience in a business or health care related field required Previous work experience (2+ years) as an administrative assistant strongly preferred Strong computer skills required: Microsoft Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, appointment scheduling systems, EHR Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and take initiative with limited directionAbility to multi-task and adapt to change in a fast paced environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrates positive customer service behaviors Ability to excel at details, multi-tasking and working under pressure Physical Demands/Environmental Factors Able to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach and stretch frequently Requires fine motor skills, adequate eye hand coordination, and ability to grasp and handle objects May be required to lift 50 pounds Must communicate effectively through reading, writing and speaking in person or on telephone Use of computers is required About CignaCigna Corporation (NYSE: CI) is a global health service company dedicated to improving the health, well-being and peace of mind of those we serve.
