Support the staff and Attorney-in-Charge with development of intake and case management systems, including but not limited to case forms, documentation, tools, processes, and procedures necessary to professionally manage cases; Advise staff and Attorney-in-Charge regarding best management practices, housing policy, resources, and outcomes, including new and changing programs. Regulations, and laws. Complete initial needs assessment and coordinate acceptance of new clients with the Attorney-in-Charge and other staff; Support case strategy for clients, in consultation with staff, Attorney-in-Charge, and other community stakeholders, as needed. Maintain communication with clients regarding case management, status and attainment of case milestones; Coordinate client participation in legal clinic and facilitate the provision of wrap-around services, as needed to support case strategy; Assist clients with accessing emergency housing and/or social service resources by referring them to appropriate agencies; Prepare and provide staff and Attorney-in-Charge with initial and ongoing summary of housing circumstances for each client; Assist in the maintenance of client files, including, but not limited to, needs assessment, contact information, correspondence, case plans, and other items as determined by Attorney-in-Charge. Collect and regularly report qualitative and statistical data to ensure compliance with funding requirements; and Support in the recruitment and supervision of housing interns and student groups.
