Other locations:Omaha, NE, US Requisition ID: Job Level: Senior Level Department: Human Resources Market: Corporate Home Office Employment Type: Full Time Position Overview As Employee Relations Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership, direction, and operational excellence within the Employee Relations function for Kiewit, reporting directly to our Employee Relations Director. You will be managing a team of Senior Employee Relations Specialists, responsible for ensuring best-in-class Employee Relations across the entire Kiewit Organization. You will oversee a very large volume of cases, delegating many to your Senior Specialists, and personally handling others as needed. This position operates within a Shared Services environment, where Employee Relations is one of our many Human Resource Centers of Excellence, focused on providing Employee Relations expertise to our 20,000+ employees across North America. We are looking for someone with extensive experience focused on Employee Relations in a large, complex, fast-paced, high volume environment like ours. As Employee Relations Manager, you will be responsible for resolving employee conflicts, coaching and counseling to resolve performance management issues, resolving reported employment and work environment complaints, developing, interpreting and recommending Employee Relations policies and procedures in accordance with federal and state laws, as well as internal guidelines. The person will deliver high-quality Employee Relations counsel and support, and must develop proactive solutions and otherwise addressing all manner and complexity of employee relations matters.
