Director of Quality and Performance Improvement

Partners with organization and hospital leadership in the development, measurement, and oversight of the quality management, performance improvement, and regulation compliance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

-Directs the quality and performance improvement process within the organization to monitor compliance with standards and regulatory requirements as well as the quality of care provided.

-Coordinates monitors and evaluates quality improvement teams and their actions.
-Responsible for the administration and analysis of client/patient satisfaction surveys.
-Ensures compliance with regulatory body surveys, i.e., The Joint Commission, Maryland Office of Health Care Quality and CMS.
-Responsible for compliance with CMS and State of Maryland regulations.
-Assists in the development, implementation and maintenance of organizational policies and procedures that conform to current standards of clinical practice, facility philosophy, and operational guidelines while maintaining compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.


-Minimum of BSN or other healthcare related Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration, Business or related field preferred.

-Three years’ work experience in health care or psychiatric hospital setting.
-Minimum of two years’ experience in quality systems and processes, TJC requirements and the survey process, and facility licensure.
-Experience using electronic medical record.
