Overview
As an Administrative Assistant, the individual will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This individual will work directly with the Office Manager with a variety of tasks which includes: Answer and direct phone calls. Greet and assist visitors. Schedule appointments and maintain calendars. Preparation of outgoing mail. Scanning of documents and help maintain client data files. Printing and assembly of tax returns. Maintain client data base. Preparation of correspondences, memos, fax, and forms. Assist in maintaining supplies and ordering for the office. Maintain office breakroom and assist with ordering breakfast and lunch for office functions. Administrative Assistants at Berger, Elliott and Pritchard CPAs, L.L.C. are given the opportunity to gain professional work experience in the accounting industry and introduction to technology and software that relates directly with accounting, taxation, and auditing. Position Qualifications: Must have proficient computer skills. Must have strong oral and written communication skills. Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with project deadlines multitask. Must be willing to work additional hours including Saturday’s January through April.
