Role Summary:

In the role of Electronic Test Technician, you would oversee the operations in the lab, maintain the test equipment and infrastructure, perform functional tests and support global access to lab equipment.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Set-up test infrastructure
  • Perform ad-hoc testing / troubleshooting to support CIR investigations
  • Provide technical support to technology personnel
  • Manage remote Perform Functional tests on installed equipment
  • Set up customer computers and associated networks
  • Update technical and quality documentation
  • Act as technology resource for the production floor
  • Learn and use Six Sigma methodologies to enhance quality and efficiency
  • Test monitoring systems (i.e. Bently Nevada 3500) which includes downloading configuration files, applying test signals
  • Execute factory acceptance test plans and recording test results
  • Frequently interface with customers during Factory Acceptance Tests
  • Assist Project Engineers with changes to 3500 and S1 configurations
  • Perform other duties as necessary to support Cabinet Shop team
  • Takes initiative to learn new skills


  • Associates Degree in Electronics from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 2 years of experience testing equipment.
  • Good knowledge of test equipment (DMM, Function Generator, scopes)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics

  • Experience in Condition Monitoring
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently within defined work scope
  • Meticulous eye for quality
  • Familiar with Local Area (Ethernet) Networks
  • Strong computer skills using Windows Operating Systems (XP, Server)
  • Strong computer skills using MS Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to convey technical concepts
  • Customer service skill
