Position: Centrify Administrator

Location: Silver Spring, MD

Duration: 12 months

Job/Position Description
Provide senior administrative support to the Centrify application which supports Privileged Access Management (PAM). Support application configurations and rollouts, as well as new product uplifts for the Centrify application.

  • 3+ years’ experience working with Centrify Authentication Service, including:
  • Centrify Access Manager
  • Centrify Agent zoning and role based access control
  • Ability to administer Active Directory as it applies to Centrify to configure authentication solutions.
  • Unix experience with Centrify Agent. This includes installation and configuration of the agent as well as the ability to troubleshoot Centrify related authentication issues.
  • Strong understanding of Unix and Windows operating system
  • Basic understanding of network design, infrastructure, and components
  • Basic understanding of Cloud based technologies preferred
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivated
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication skills including, but not limited to:
    • Conveying complex technical details in a short and easy to understand manner for Management and end users
    • Conveying complex technical details to peer technicians, support staff, and engineers
    • Keep and relay detail status reports of weekly activity
    • Work with team members and management across a broad geographical region, efficiently leveraging collaboration software and communication tools
    • Familiar with interacting with Microsoft SharePoint
    • Familiar with ServiceNow ticketing
    • Good organizational skills (must be able to track progress for multiple projects that may be occurring simultaneously)
    • Strong documentation skills with focus work being on creating & maintaining technical documents and Standard Operating Procedures

Qualifications Required

  • 3+ years’ experience working with Centrify Authentication Service, including:
  • Centrify Access Manager
  • Centrify Agent zoning and role based access control
  • Ability to administer Active Directory as it applies to Centrify to configure authentication solutions.
  • Unix experience with Centrify Agent. This includes installation and configuration of the agent as well as the ability to troubleshoot Centrify related authentication issues.
  • Strong understanding of Unix and Windows operating systems
  • Familiar with ITIL v03 change control process concepts
  • Industry recognized certification(s)
  • 5 years minimum in Information Technology
