Job Summary

American National Bank is looking for a Loan Servicing Specialist to be responsible for gathering information through systems and processes in order to service loan portfolio on core system. We are seeking an individual who provides superior and timely customer service to internal and external customers.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am-5pm

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Manage and process loan inquires submitted by internal and external customers via Loan Servicing email box such as loan payments or advances, quoting and processing payoffs, and account maintenance.
  2. Monitor and maintain the loan collateral tickler system for pending collateral perfection items, insurance, and missing documentation.
  3. Ensure paid loan files are processed and collateral released is in accordance with Bank policy/procedures.
  4. Handles the imaging loan documentation to ensure documents are indexed to the correct document name.
  5. Prepare and deliver complete and accurate early disclosures for while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations (RESPA, REG Z, TRID, HOEPA, HPML, FLOOD, FACTA, REG B, HMDA, Fair Credit, etc.)
  6. Interact with clients, external centers of influence, and other support areas of the Bank via telephone, email, and in person to provide superior service.
  7. Handle routine inquires and client service issue promptly.
  8. Continual mindfulness of process improvement opportunities.
  9. Perform other duties and assist with special projects for the bank as assigned.

Experience, Education & Training Requirements

Experience Needed:

  • 1-2 years of bank and/or office experience preferred

Education, Licensure & Certification Needed:

  • High School Diploma or its equivalent is required.
  • Post-secondary education preferred.
