Overview
Needed Respite/Social Club Coordinator to provide overall coordination of the respite/social club site and create a stable, supportive environment for adults with Alzheimer’s/Dementia and related cognitive impairments and to encourage the active participation of clients and volunteers in their respite experience. This is a contract position for 8 to 16 hours a week. Applicant must be a minimum of 21 years of age. Patient, Dependable, and Caring, Experience working with the elderly, especially those with Alzheimer’s/dementia diagnoses preferred but not required. Must have the ability to establish rapport and motivate others towards participating in activities. Respect for confidentiality for both clients and families is paramount. Must have the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and provide own transportation.
