The primary responsibilities include performing basic test and control article formulation, dose preparation and dispensing. This position will also receive test and control article materials and maintain chain of custody documentation associated with test and control materials, including inventory control.

Responsibilities:
•Dose preparation, sampling and dispensing for primarily non-GLP studies, however, as the individual gains experience in the position, may support GLP studies
•Inventory of materials
•Reconciliation of materials as needed
•Document accurately, including limited error. Demonstrated increasing proficiency in understanding Xybion daily schedules for completing daily dose worksheets requiring minimal corrections
•May be assigned as a Formulation Lead for non-GLP studies, including Day 1 preparation activities
•May cross train to perform some basic analytical work, i.e. UV-VIS for dose concentration analysis
•May cross train to support pharmacy operations, i.e. dispense controlled substances

Requirements:

•BA or BS in a scientific discipline
•0-1 years in a regulated environment. Equivalent combination of education and work experience may substitute for education requirement
•Satisfactory performance, demonstrated skill and completion of required training will determine eligibility for advancement from current level
•Math and computer skills
•Ability to read and interpret documents such as study schedules, SOP’s etc
•Continual GLP training. Responsible to ensure training records for pharmacy laboratory procedures and equipment are complete and accurate
•Ability to operate laboratory equipment
