Unique Job Opportunity: The Applications Engineer works directly with engineering and technicians utilizing a hands-on approach that supports daily floor activities by creating, analyzing, and improving machining processes to achieve optimal performance utilizing various multi-axis CNC Mills & Lathes.

Position Requirements:

* Proficient with reading engineering drawings and familiarity with GD&T principles
* Generate efficient toolpaths utilizing both CAM software and direct hand coding
* Develop manufacturing processes ensuring stability and repeatability
* Select proper cutting tools, fixtures, and work holding, etc.
* Experience utilizing macros in programming, as well as, strong FANUC knowledge
* Ability to apply sound troubleshooting skills & solve on-going manufacturing issues
* Be a reference and training resource to other machine technicians
* Utilize common inspection equipment as required to measure & qualify parts
* Possess wide knowledge of various ferrous & non-ferrous metals
* Direct experience with Okuma, Fadal, and Robodrills a plus, but not required
* Experience with 3D modeling software a plus, but not required
* Experience in job shop environment with rapid changeovers and short cycle times a plus
* Basic knowledge of OSHA requirements to ensure safe practices are implemented

* Demonstrates strong time management skills/ability to coordinate multiple projects
* Minimum 10 years machining experience
* High school diploma required; additional education a plus
* Strong math skills including trigonometry & geometry
