Overview
**Description:**Techs will be responsible for traveling to job sites anywhere from down to the Carolina’s, to as far east as PA, and as far west as Iowa/Nebraska. Candidates need to have own vehicle to travel, but could travel with crews of 5-10. **Reimbursement for travel, lodging and food is available.**Job duties will require working 30 feet in the air and will be using a pressure washer (under 2500 psi) to clean the cooling towers. Will also be doing general cleanup like hauling lumber, trash, or using power tools to cut wood and grind. Construction responsibilities will include erecting wood, tightening bolts, and reading blueprints for the construction projects. Tools used may include: sawzall, wrenches, drills. Certain projects may be more steel related, if they are working on boilers or chillers they might be replacing pipe, removing and installing new panels, taking bolts off and putting new ones on.All projects essentially are minor to major upgrades on cooling towers, boilers, or chillers. Most projects include cleaning the unit prior to construction. Could include using hand tool to chip away soot and things.**Skills:**hand tools, construction, carpenter, mechanic, roof, landscaping, concrete**Top Skills Details:**MUST HAVES:1 ability to use hand tools (i.e. saw, drills, wrenches, sawzall) – If they can change their own tire and perform basic maintenance on their own car – they are mechanical enough to learn.2 ability to work at heights (30 ft.)3 ability to travel and work on the road4.
