Overview
Distribution/Transmission EPC Project Manager will be responsible for the engineering, procurement and construction of overhead and underground distribution and sub-transmission work. Voltage classes vary from 4kV to 40kV. This person will be based in Detroit with travel to project sites as needed. Individual will lead the project teams, major equipment and material procurement, construction & commissioning including responsibility for overall project schedule, budget and execution planning.+ Responsible for the oversight of day-to-day construction activities and the successful execution of a single or multiple project simultaneously.+ Provide direction and participate in project planning, scheduling, estimating, cost development, and establishing critical project objectives.**Required:**+ Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.+ Additional applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.+ A minimum of 15 years relevant project management experience in the Distribution/Transmission – construction industry.**Preferred requirements:**+ Ideal candidate will have a degree in civil engineering or+ construction management and will have 15-20 years of experience including+ overhead and underground installation experience.+ Trainings/Certifications Needed: OSHA 30 Preferred.**About Aerotek:**We know that a company’s success starts with its employees.
