Overview

Our client, located in Gurnee, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support their Sales, Project Management and Manufacturing Services departments.

Job Duties

  • Answer incoming calls and greets visitors promptly and in a courteous manner and direct them appropriately.
  • Maintain a pleasant environment at the main entrance. Ensure that visitors are logged, manage registration cards, maintain Welcome Board and accept deliveries.
  • Manage telephone extension list, telephone conference equipment and scheduling of conference and training rooms.
  • Provide various administrative and clerical services, such as maintaining various company databases, word processing, spreadsheets, and data entry.
  • Run various reports within timeframe assigned and reconcile data. Print distribute and mail as needed. Order supplies.
  • Prepare customer related documents such as proposals, order releases and certificates. Organize for printing and copying, collate, scan and distribute electronic and hard copies.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with calendar management and running reports.
  • Paycom experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
