The Registered Nurse is responsible for triaging incoming calls from patients, assessing needs, giving appropriate clinical disposition and facilitating appointments with clinic providers, or referral to specialists, healthcare facilities or community resources. This position will also educate the patient when appropriate regarding immediate care advice and preventative behaviors. This role will also assist in the triage of emergent and urgent care needs of walk in patients in the clinic. The Registered Nurse also provides care coordination, medical and disease education, and outreach services to Access medical patients. This position will actively manage patient’s immediate and ongoing needs with attention to acute and preventative intervention.

- Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program
- Holds a Wisconsin Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR certification and maintenance of certification
- A minimum of three years of nursing experience
- Previous work experience in a medical clinic setting
- Previous experience working in nursing triage
- Fluency in English and Spanish
