Successful candidates will possess strong negotiation and litigation skills, and the ability to work independently. We are looking for someone who is an ambitious hard worker willing to put in the work and hit their monthly metrics. Must be highly motivated, have excellent writing and negotiating skills, and be able to work in a team environment. Selected candidates will handle all phases of litigation, from inception to trial.This is a great opportunity to be a part of a well-established, reputable, and growing law firm handling significant cases in a positive work atmosphere.Requirements and Responsibilities:1-4 years of workers compensation experienceAssociates are expected to manage a large case docket.Associates will be supported substantively and administratively by a team of paralegals and report directly to an assigned Senior AssociateResponsible for ensuring cases are proactively pursued and resolvedThe associate will collaborate with pre-litigation staff including mid-level management – to the extent necessary to achieve a high standard of excellence servicing clients.Must be comfortable providing guidance to non-attorney team members as needed.Responsible for bringing positivity to the workplace and leading non-attorney colleagues by example.Responsible for raising any concerns about the firm operations, processes, standards, or individual conduct to management either via immediate supervisor or directly to ALGs designated human resources manager.Must be highly motivatedExceptional problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills, both verbally and in writingComfortable working in a detail-oriented and dynamic workplaceTeam playerCandidates must be in good standing with the CA State BarLocal Candidates Only.
