This role reports to Global IS Department Manager and is located at Cary, North Carolina.

Your responsibilities

  • Supporting large scale SAP ERP which is implemented in 60+ facilities in over 30 countries with over 5500 users.
  • Responsibility for designing and configuring SAP solutions to support business processes across the Order to Remittance Value Chain.
  • Supporting business operations by monitoring, coaching and proactively problem solving.
  • Supporting EDI both for Customer & Vendor connections

Your background

  • Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field with minimum 3 years of experience in designing and implementing order management and commercial processes in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in United States.
  • Vistex knowledge a plus.
  • Working knowledge of business processes across the Inquiry to Order value chain within the manufacturing industry.
  • 3 years of experience in managing projects responsible for design & project schedules.
  • 3 years of experience in leading configuration sessions and demonstrating configured process scenarios in SAP.
  • Solid communication skills, ability to work with business partner and external customer/vendors.
  • Experience developing EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and Web solutions within the Order to Remittance process.
  • Expert knowledge of EDI ANSI (Electronic Data Interchange American National Standards Institute) X12 / EDIFACT (Electronic Data Interchange for Administration, Commerce and Transport) Standards.
  • Knowledge of EDI map development and Trading Partner setup.
  • Familiar with Communication Protocols like FTP (File Transfer Protocol), FTPS (File Transfer Protocol Secure), SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol), HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol), HTTP/S (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure), AS2 (Applicability Statement 2), VAN (Value-Added Network) etc.
