ABB is seeking a Administrative Assistant for its Mebane, North Carolina location.This role is responsible for all tasks necessary for day to day office operations and Human Resources support.Serves as ELDS liaison for Customers and Commercial Business Contacts.

Your responsibilities

  • Successfully manage and meet the objectives of assigned projects.
  • Manage Customer Experience Center (CXC) for customer and business visitors.
  • Set up meeting space to ensure meeting objectives. Maintain integrity of the CXC.Serve as first contact for vendors and guests.
  • General administrative duties for leadership team within Mebane, NC.
  • Work with confidential data and maintains confidentiality.
  • Prepare presentations that meet ABB Branding specifications.
  • Arrange travel and maintain expense reports
  • Maintain calendars and schedules.
  • Assure timeliness for receipt and distribution of weekly updates.
  • Coordinate meeting rooms and catering for the facility.
  • Standardize usage of correct communication templates (fax, email, power point, etc.)
  • Ensure office standards are upheld. Streamline office processes
  • Provide payroll support and sign-off for the hourly population. Ensure compliance and consistency in approving time.
  • Assume ultimate responsibility for seamless flow of day to day office needs. Support recruiting initiatives at the site to include but not limited to:
  • Transactional support of staffing initiatives (job postings, schedules, bid maintenance, etc.)
  • Travel and schedule arrangements
  • Requisition tracking and reports

Your background

  • Two years of college or equivalent OR 4 year degree preferred with minimum of 3 years experience.
  • Proven experience with current versions of Microsoft office Suite, and the ability to quickly grasp new technologies.etc.
  • Experience with SAP, WorkDay, Kronos and Data Base applications preferred.
  • Two years administrative experience at an executive level preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with high analytical skills required.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.Self-starter who is adept at multi-tasking.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in United States.
